2007 North American Quilling Guild Executive Board and Officer Duties

PRESIDENT: Donna Del Giudice

President
The president presides at all meetings; exercises general supervision over the affairs and activities of NAQG; serves as member ex-officio of all committees. He or she appoints committee chairpeople and coordinates activities of the committees. In the absence of the Treasurer, the President is authorized to sign all contracts and obligations of the NAQG. The year following the term of office, the President shall serve ex-officio on the Executive Board.

ACTING VICE-PRESIDENT: Sherry Rodehaver

Vice President
The Vice-President assumes the duties of the President during her/his absence or inability to serve and perform any other duties assigned by the President. The Vice-President shall become the President after the President's term ends (2 years). The Vice-President shall be the Board liaison to the Community Relationship & Development Committee and work with public relations. The Vice-President shall assume the duties of the Secretary in her/his absence and collects all monies in the absence of the Treasurer.

SECRETARY: Sheryl Scott

The Secretary keeps the minutes of all Executive Board and Guild meetings. He or she shall present all motions made from the floor and take care of the Association's correspondence.

TREASURER: Laura Olohan

The Treasurer collects and receives all funds belonging to the Guild and keeps them in a bank approved by the Executive Board. He or she receives and pays all bills approved by the Executive Board. At the close of the fiscal year, the Treasurer shall present the books for audit.

Membership
The Membership Chairperson processes membership requests and provides an information package that includes: a welcome letter, North American Quilling Guild information, list of suppliers, Membership card, Constitution, Membership Directory, and dues application. He or she updates the Membership Directory and provides labels for the newsletter, and answers requests for information.

QUILL AMERICA EDITOR: Caroline Mach

Quill America Editor
The Editor sets dates for submission of articles and publication, format pages with content, determines themes and writes an article for the publication. He or she coordinates publication of any color page(s) with photographer/Photo Editor. The Editor shall collate, stuff and stamp newsletter for mailing.

PHOTO EDITOR: Ev Rooney
The Photo Editor collects images and coordinates with the Newsletter Editor to publish color pages in the newsletter.

ARCHIVIST: Donna Del Giudice

Archivist
The Archivist keeps an archival library and research documentation on Quilling using all known forms and terms. He or she prepares and keeps current a database on articles, books, web links, suppliers, videos, patterns/kits on Quilling, and keeps a record of other guilds or groups that may form.

WEBMISTRESS: Antonella DeFalco

Webmistress
The webmistress maintains the Guild website, including renewal of the domain name registration and site host, and maintaining up-to-date content on the site. He or she maintains a password protected directory and provides login information to members as requested to access the members' only area of the site.
