Welcome to the NAQG's 15th Annual Guild Meeting (AGM 2008) being held at the Radisson Airport Hotel in Warwick, Rhode Island. Can you believe the Guild has been meeting for 15 years? The AGM is a wonderful chance to catch up with old friends, make many new ones and come together to share our art and our ideas.

The AGM this year will be held at the Radisson Airport Hotel, 2081 Post Road, Warwick, RI 02886 401-598-2100 www.radisson.com/warwickri. For those of you flying in, the Radisson is located right across from the airport and a shuttle runs 24/7 to pick you up and whisk you to the hotel. The Radisson is a Johnson and Wales University Education Facility. Students from all over the world attend the University, so you often can find many different foreign language speakers amongst your hotel staff to assist anyone traveling from afar.

The registration fee is $135.00 each for NAQG members and $150.00 for non-members. Member's guests who will not be attending classes & workshops are being charged $90.00 each to cover the cost of meals. The registration fee covers Friday night dinner, Saturday lunch and Sunday breakfast. It also includes all classes and supplies, handouts and other "special" freebies.

Classes commence on Friday morning from 9:00 - 12:00. After breaking for lunch on your own or with friends, we start up again at 1:00 with classes running until 5:00. Dinner will be served after classes. Saturday is reserved for the Business Meeting, presentation of Competition winners and our wonderful "Open to the Public" hours. I would like to encourage everyone to bring a sample of their quilling. It would be wonderful to be able to display many types of quilling presented by all attendees. In order to perpetuate our craft, the public needs to know all the wonderful things that can be accomplished with a little paper and glue!!!

The hotel rates are $119.00 for a deluxe room and $139.90 for suite. Just mention the North American Quilling Guild to get your discounted price. The hotel is also willing to extend their room rates from before the conference to after if anyone plans on touring the area. We would encourage all to stay at the hotel because that is where all the "action" is going to be taking place.
