"As usual, we all had a great time at the 1998 AGM which held in Springfield, NJ. Laura Olohan and the New Jersey quillers did a great job planning and setting it up. There were wonderful examples of quilling to be shared and much to learn. A speaker from Leisure Arts Center spoke about mat cutting and demonstrated as well. But as usual, the highlight of the day was speaking with and watching our fellow quillers demonstrate. Laura put together a packet of information for attendees that included everything from quilling supplies, scrap books, stamping, and craft supplies in general. We decided at the meeting that it was time to look at other dates for future AGM´s. Some of our usual attendees (like Malinda and Jim Johnston, Betty Christy and Marlene Bartels) were unable to attend this year because they had to be at a national trade show to promote their businesses. Of course we realize that no date is going to be perfect for everyone, but we´ve tried to keep the AGM away from summer vacation time and still try to dodge graduation time, etc.

We have set the dates for the next two AGM`s (how´s that for looking ahead)!!"
